Another smile try in. This young patient's permanent teeth grew in smaller than normal and he wants to fix the spaces in his smile. We discussed having his teeth straightened first, but even braces wouldn't be able to close the spaces because the teeth are simply too small. He didn't want to have braces.
A wax up of his teeth was done on models of his teeth and then tranferred to his mouth using temporary material (which peels right off after the try in) to see how his smile would look if we used veneers, crowns, and bonding. It looked great, and he loved it! Now we know that his teeth can be restored without grinding away a lot of tooth structure and it will look great!
